Had a great ride tonight. Got enough spped on a couple of the
tabletop jumps to make it all the way to the transition. Woot! For
those that don't know anything about bike jumping, this basically
means good air time with a nice landing :-)

Busy day. Mowed the ditches, went for a mountain bike ride in the
mud, and went to the ZZ Top concert. A good time was had by all. It
was an excellent show. Really loud, and they play the songs very
differently from their studio albums, which makes them seem a lot
more interesting. I knew most of the songs.

Super windy after work today. But the sun was out and the lawn
was dry for mowing when I got home. When I was done the lawn I
noticed there was a huge slug stuck to the side wall of the lawn
mower's back tire. Bet it was dizzy...

Accident just ahead of us on the way home. If we'd been 5
minutes sooner, it would have been behind us. We sat there for
an hour (watching the guy behind us chain smoke a half a pack of
cigarettes), then turned around and came back into town. Looked up
the soonest movie and went to it. Slim pickins for anything aroung
8-8:30 at night. Ended up seeing Robin Hood. Not to bad. Would
have rather seen Iron Man 2, but the next showing of that was
9:30. Made for an unexpected late night.

Great ride tonight. The sun actually came out. Trails were super
wet though. Slugs all over the place. Had to clean their remains
off parts of my bike when I was done. Pretty gross.

Went for a ride on Mt Tzouhalem today. First time I've ever gone
up there, even though it is only 25 minutes from home. Excellent
riding up there. Rode all the way to the top. A bit of a hike-a-bike
to get up to the very top, but nice view. And lots of fun riding
back down :-)

Took a few pictures, but as I only had my phone with me, most of
them didn't turn out very well. Here's the two that did.

Crappy day at work. Left me feeling all stabby.

On the plus side, it was dry today, so when we got home I managed
to get the lawn mowed. On the down side, in the 4 days since I
mowed last, the lawn freaking grew like crazy, and we've had a
bumper crop of mushrooms of various types appear in the lawn. Geeze!
