Went for a mountain bike ride in the daytime today. It's a lot
more fun in the daytime as you can go faster. Which means there

Broke my chain at one point going up a rock face. Luckily I carry
Quicklinks for repairing chains in just such an emergency, so we
were back on the trail in just a couple minutes. It wasn't the
usual chain break (where it pulls out a pin). This was a link that
snapped. Apparently I have powerful legs :-)
